GLEN BROOKS
Glen began his Accounting career at 18 years of age, via Distance Education whilst working full time with a Tocumwal based Accounting firm Cyril Lewis & Co. Glen completed his first year of study by correspondence, before relocating to Bendigo to complete the remaining three years of his degree, on campus, at LaTrobe University. Glen graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) Degree and thereafter gained three years of invaluable experience with Big 4 Firm KPMG, Albury. During this time, Glen was granted admission into the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants and also to the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants. Glen was later invited to become a partner in local Accounting firm Xerri Lewis (formerly Cyril Lewis & Co.) and from there kick-started Xerri Brooks with offices in Tocumwal and Cobram. In 2004, Glen began Brooks Accountants Pty Ltd, with a 150 strong client base. Today, a Certified Practising Accountant and Tax Agent, Glen is also a Registered Agent with the Australian Securities & Investment Commission (ASIC). Glen advises over 250 local, and interstate, small to medium sized businesses and leads a balanced team of Accountants, Bookkeepers and Administration support staff.

JANINE LUXFORD
Janine graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree from Monash University in Gippsland.
Janine initially made use of her tertiary qualifications within the banking sector, spending two years as a business teller with ANZ.
Janine completed the CPA program in 2004 and joined Brooks Accountants in March 2006. With over ten years experience in public practise,
Janine is a valuable member of our Tax & Accounting team and has found her niche in Self Managed Superannuation Fund taxation and accounting.

MICHAEL WHITFORD
Michael completed his tertiary education at LaTrobe in Bendigo and graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree in 1993. Before joining Glen’s Tax & Accounting team with Xerri Brooks in 2000, Michael worked as a company and cost accountant for six years within the logistics industry. Michael completed the CPA program in 2004, and has nine years experience within public practise. Michael leads our Tax & Accounting team and works closely with Glen, Amy, Caroline and Janine.

CAROLINE TOOHEY
Caroline is the most recent addition to our Tax & Accounting team and joins us from Beechworth after two years experience in public practise accounting.
Prior to her career as a Diploma qualified Accountant, Caroline gained a solid grounding within the industry through eight years of bookkeeping.

CRYSTAL JARRATT
Crystal joined the Brooks Accountants team half way through 2008 and quickly became the friendly face behind our reception desk. Crystal completed her secondary education at Cobram Secondary College and will undertake Certificate III in Business in the near future. Crystal is responsible for the administration of our office and makes a mean cup of tea and coffee.

GEORGIA BROOKS
Georgia came on board as a Cadet Accountant at the end of 2008 after completing her VCE at Cobram Secondary College. Currently, Georgia is undertaking a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) Degree at LaTrobe University, in Shepparton, and is on track to complete her studies in December 2012. Georgia forms part of our Tax & Accounting team and is working closely with our qualified Accountants to gain hands on experience that will compliment her university education.

JACINTA CICCONE
Jacinta has worked closely with Glen for over twelve years. Jacinta first found her feet in reception with Xerri Accounting and later Xerri Brooks, after she had completed a year-long traineeship with M & S Taxation Services in Shepparton. Jacinta completed Certificate III in Business Administration and took on the role as administration manager with Xerri Brooks and afterwards Brooks Accountants. Jacinta balances work and life as a new mother by working two days a week from the office, and often from home. Jacinta forms an integral part of the Bookkeeping & BAS team and also manages our ASIC and Company Secretarial duties.

THEONIE NEWBEGIN
Theonie joined Brooks Accountants in March 2006 initially assisting with administrative and reception duties before assuming management responsibilities in late 2007. Theonie has completed Certificate III in Business through TAFE, Shepparton, and is currently completing Certificate IV Bookeeping, Accounting and Business Administration. Since joining our team Theonie has been awarded certificates in MYOB, Bookkeeping for Small Business and Excellence for Customer Service. Theonie is now enjoying a more accounting based role as part of the Bookkeeping & BAS team.

BRODIE JUKES
Brodie has completed one year at University. He manages his own workload and is a valuable member of the BAS and Bookkeeping team.

BROGAN BROOKS
Brogan joined the Brooks Accountants team in October 2011, with 3 and a half years experience in Accounting. Brogan is a member of the Tax & Accounting team and completed her Bachelor of Commerce at the Shepparton La Trobe University campus and graduated in June 2011.
After a brief study break, she is looking to commence her CPA in early 2012.
